Fight for Virtue is a series of twelve ink illustrations exploring the theme of spiritual struggle. Through a symbolic visual language, it examines the tension between virtue and human weakness, inviting viewers to reflect on freedom and inner transformation. Executed in detailed ink drawing, the series combines meticulous craftsmanship with expressive storytelling, drawing inspiration from the traditions of sacred art, iconography, and classical illustration. 

The series was created by Samuel Rinik, a Slovak artist and illustrator currently pursuing distance studies in Sacred Art in Scotland. His work brings together traditional artistic techniques, Christian spirituality, and symbolic visual language. Alongside his personal artistic practice, he develops the Prosopon Graphica project, dedicated to sacred art, illustration, and iconography. 

Since its creation, Fight for Virtue has been exhibited at several venues in Slovakia and abroad. It premiered at the Slovak Historical Institute in Rome and was later presented in Košice and Bratislava, as well as at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. The exhibition invites visitors to enter a timeless narrative of humanity's struggle for virtue and to discover the layers of meaning embedded within each illustration.
