As a supporting factor for my Master's Thesis on the topic of the Ontology of Iconhood, I have started creating a series of ink drawings supported by coloured pencils and golden highlights, with stylization sitting between a traditional icon and an icon typically seen in the Carpathian Area of Central Europe.

The idea of the series is rooted in the practical approach to the thought process of iconhood / to what extent can something be called an icon? when is an image to be called and icon and when can it not be called so anymore?
